Movie in Bryant Park
by admin on Aug.23, 2009, under Uncategorized
Monday night the FH Digital team decided to attend the weekly Monday night movie in Bryant Park. Jennifer and I headed over at 4:45 with our arms full of blankets. Hundreds if people surround the edges of the lawn and as soon as the security officer gives the 5pm signal everyone runs to secure a spot. Blankets go flying as everyone tosses them down as fast as they can. One girl next to us had forgotten her blanket and instead sprawwled herself out on the ground using her body to guard her spot until the mayhem had settled. Jennifer and I than sat or a few hours in the sun. Luckily she’s great company. The rest of the team then joined later in the evening as they finished up their projects. The movie was a speilburg production something encounter of the third kind.

Packing Darren’s Apt by surprise
by admin on Aug.10, 2009, under Uncategorized
It was apparent from his call Monday night that Darren was stressed. He had started packing and he was no where close to finished and with the movers coming Wednesday morning he was worried he wouldn’t be able to finish packing tuesday night. He mentioned that maybe he would ask for Wednesday off. Being that he has very few vacation days left I didn’t want him to do that so I assured him that with my help we could finish Tuesday evening.
But instead I woke up at 5am Tuseday morning to get into work early. I finished up my projects and at 11am headed to Darren’s. When I arrived the place was worse of than I thought with everything randomly out of the closests and cupboards scattered across the floor.
I put on Pandora and got to work. I kept my laptop open so I could message him from time to time so he would think I was sitting at my office desk as usual.
Right before he got home I piled all the boxes in the middle of the floor and sat on top! His reaction was priceless!

I met Kyle randomly in Time Sqaure back in November last year. We became best friends since. So when his mom came to town he invited me and a group of his friends to brunch. The majority of them were gorgeuos girls. Being that Kyle is a dancer most of them were also in the theater industry.

Dinner with Angela

Darren and I met one of the FH interns and her boy friend for dinner. We went to Ghandi Cafe in the village. The place is by far my favorite place in all of NYC to eat. Darren and I then met up with Adam to see the off broadway production, Next Fall. The plays main characters were struggling with issues related to homosexuality and religion. With our LDS and Baptist backgrounds It was a subject we both related to well.
