A Toast w/ Kendyl

It’s only been a week since she started working at FH and already Kendyl and I have become good friends. Personally I attribute it to sharing the sign of aqaurious, but who really knows. To celebrate her hire and my promotion I took seltzer from the fridge, poured it in mugs and added lemon tea bags. And because it was a celebration I even added a packet of sugar.

Quilt from Nana
by admin on Oct.14, 2009, under Uncategorized
Last year nana made me a quilt. I think her goal is to make one for each of the grandchildren. Luckily, I’m the oldest and thus was one of the first to get one. It’s been at the parents until recently when kayte shipped it to NYC along with her china luggage. It was delivered to my office and sat in the corner foe a while. Until I decided that it would be kinda nice to hang it up.
So last week when I had to work late I just pulled it off the wall and took a nap behind my desk.

It’s been a crazy last few weeks at work with my hours at times getting to 16 in a day. Darren volunteered to fix me dinner. When I got to his place he was hovering over the stove– two Indian vegan dishes in the making. It was ridiculously good.
